Christopher J. Cann, Trustee
Mr. Cann has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cann Consult Inc. since 1994, a company that is involved in the ownership and management of shopping centres. Mr. Cann has over 40 years of experience in the banking industry with an emphasis on mortgage lending. During his career, Mr. Cann has held a number of senior management positions including President and Chief Executive Officer of Maple NHA Mortgage Trust from 2001 to 2002, President and Chief Executive Officer of Prenor Trust Company of Canada from 1987 to 1994, Executive Vice President of Central Trust Company from 1984 to 1987 and President and Chief Executive Officer of Eaton Bay Trust Company from 1981 to 1984. Mr. Cann was appointed in 1972 Vice Chairman of the Trust Companies Association and from 1972 to 1973 served as President of the Trust Companies Institute.

Edward Dato, Trustee and Chair of the Governance and Compensation Committee
Mr. Dato is a financial consultant and was the Chief Financial Officer of Waterfront Toronto, from June 2003 to July 2006. Prior to joining Waterfront Toronto, Mr. Dato held various positions including as Vice President Corporate at Canadian Pacific Limited, Chief Financial Officer at Marathon Realty Company Limited and Brookfield Development Corporation and Vice President and Manager at Bank of Montreal. Mr. Dato was a trustee of Sunrise Retirement REIT until it was sold in 2007. Mr. Dato earned his M.B.A. from York University and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Patrick J. Lavelle, Trustee and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Lavelle is a Corporate Director and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Patrick J. Lavelle & Associates, a strategic management consulting firm. From November 2000 until March 2002, Mr. Lavelle was also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Unique Broadband Systems Inc. From January 1, 1998 until December 2001, he served, by appointment of the Prime Minister of Canada, as Chairman of Export Development Canada and prior thereto was Chairman of the Business Development Bank of Canada. His appointments in public service have included Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Technology for the Province of Ontario and Agent General for the Government of Ontario in Paris, France. Mr. Lavelle has served as a director of a number of public and private Canadian and United States companies and served as chair of a corporate governance program at York University, Toronto, Ontario. Mr. Lavelle was a member of the board of directors of Slater Steel Inc. when it announced, in June 2003, that it and certain of its U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries filed for creditor protection under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (Canada) and the U.S. Bankruptcy Code

Richard Michaeloff, Trustee and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Michaeloff was appointed Chief Executive Officer in July 2010. Prior to the appointment, Mr. Michaeloff served as a Trustee since 2008 and was the Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasury at SmartCentres, responsible for the Finance, Treasury and Corporate Legal Groups since September 2007. Prior to joining SmartCentres, Mr. Michaeloff served as Chief Operating Officer of the El-Ad Group Ltd. Prior to that, Mr. Michaeloff was associate director in the investment banking group at Scotia Capital Inc. from 2001 to 2002. From 1988 until 2001, he served in various capacities at The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited, including as Vice President, Corporate Finance, starting in 1996. Mr. Michaeloff earned his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Ontario and an M.B.A. from York University. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Mauro Pambianchi, Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee
Mr. Pambianchi is Executive Vice-President and Chief Development Officer at SmartCentres, responsible for the company’s development program across the country, including all aspects of development, from land acquisition through to zoning approvals, design development, leasing and construction. Prior to joining SmartCentres in September 2001, Mr. Pambianchi served as Senior Vice-President, Retail Division at Brookfield Properties, and, prior to that, he held progressively senior development positions over 18 years at The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited, most recently as Senior Vice-President, Retail Development. Mr. Pambianchi holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from McGill University and an MBA from the Rotman School at the University of Toronto.


David Schiffer, Trustee
Mr. Schiffer is Executive Vice President and Western Portfolio Leader at SmartCentres Group of Companies, responsible for all aspects of the company's development activities in Western Canada and the United States. Mr. Schiffer has held progressively senior development positions with SmartCentres since joining the company in November 1995. Mr. Schiffer holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University.

Robert Wolf, Trustee, Chair of Audit Committee and Vice-Chairman of Investment Committee 
Mr. Wolf, through RTW Capital Corporation, has been providing consulting and private investment services to small to medium sized businesses in a variety of sectors since February 2008. Prior to March 2008, Mr. Wolf served as Chief Financial Officer of RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust, Canada’s largest REIT, from its inception in 1994. Prior to 1994, Mr. Wolf held a variety of positions in both public and private/public real estate companies. He obtained his Chartered Accountancy designation in 1984 and holds an MBA from The Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

Hani Zayadi, Trustee
Mr. Zayadi is a corporate director and retired retail sector CEO. Mr. Zayadi has held a number of senior executive positions with leading retailers including, as CEO of Zellers, Woodwards Canada, and Kmart Australia and NZ, Group Managing Director, Food, Liquor & Fuel Division of Coles Myer Ltd., Australia's largest retailer, and senior VP at Walmart Canada and Future Shop Canada. Mr. Zayadi has also been on numerous corporate and business advisory boards including Retail Counsel of Canada, BC Business Board of Governors, and International Mass Merchants.
