David Fiume, Trustee, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Fiume joined the REIT as its Chief Financial Officer in 2005 and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2006. Mr. Fiume brings to the REIT many years of senior financial experience, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Telepanel Systems Inc. He was also Chief Financial Officer of Camreal Inc. and Vice President Finance at The Lehndorff Group, later Dundee Realty, which owned and managed real estate and private client investments. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors of Commerce degree, Mr. Fiume began his career at KPMG LLP where he practiced as a Chartered Accountant primarily in the real estate industry.

Sandy Ardern, Chief Financial Officer

Prior to her appointment as CFO of the REIT in October 2007, Ms. Ardern was Vice-President and Controller of Sunrise Senior Living REIT from January 2006. Ms. Ardern has held a number of financial positions in the real estate industry from 1987 to the present. She held the position of Vice-President, Property Accounting at Dundee Realty Management Corporation from 2001 to 2005, and from 1987 to 2000, she held various positions at Oxford Properties Group Inc., including Vice President, Corporate Accounting. Ms. Ardern graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelors of Commerce degree and began her career at a predecessor company of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she practiced as a Chartered Accountant.

Belinda James, Vice President and General Counsel

Ms. James joined the REIT as Vice-President and General Counsel in 2007 and brings to the REIT over 20 years of legal experience, most recently as a partner in the real estate group at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP. Ms. James graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Law degree in 1986. After graduating from Queen’s, Ms. James joined a predecessor firm of Fasken Martineau. She has also held volunteer board and executive positions with various charities, non-profit companies and legal organizations.

Daniel Kolber, Vice President, Asset Management

Mr. Kolber joined the REIT in early 2005 to facilitate its acquisitions program and to run the asset management group and was promoted to Vice-President Asset Management in June 2007. Prior to joining the REIT, Mr. Kolber worked in commercial real estate brokerage for a publicly traded developer, focusing on the purchase and sale of mid-market retail assets across Canada. Mr. Kolber has a BA from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
